Story
I'm Running the Hackney Half for Carers UK! This year, I’m proud to be taking on the Hackney Half Marathon to raise awareness for the 5.8 million unpaid carers across the UK who go the extra mile every single day. These incredible individuals care for loved ones who are ill, disabled, or elderly—often with little recognition and limited support. I’m running for Carers UK, a charity that provides vital resources, information, advice, and a welcoming community for carers who are often stretched to their limits. They’re a lifeline for many, and your support can make a real difference. Just £20 could enable four carers to join a supportive Care for a Cuppa online chat—giving them a much-needed break and space to connect with others who understand. If you can, please donate to my page. Every step I run is for someone who cares—and with your help, we can show them they’re not alone. Thank you so much for your support.
