Sports Childhood Day Mile
MENU

Half a million children a year suffer abuse in the UK. That's the equivalent of filling every Premier League football stadium in the UK and means 7 children in a classroom experience abuse before they turn 18. This can’t go on – and it doesn’t have to. Together, we can stop child abuse.

Taking place this year on Friday 7 June, Childhood Day is the NSPCC’s national flagship day of fundraising and action that brings communities together and gives everyone a way to help keep children safe.

This year, the Sports Industry is coming together to and move a mile to raise money to keep children safe and we need your help!

On Friday 7 June, get together with your friends, family, colleagues, school, or sports team to move a mile for Childhood Day.
Move your mile, your way.
You can make it as simple, silly, fun or challenging as you like! There’ll be miles of smiles across the UK and Channel Islands.

Step 1: Plan your mile and decide who you'll be taking part with. Start collecting donations by sharing the link to the Sports Industry fundraising page.

You can also create your own fundraising page for your own mile and follow the steps if you want your own dedicated page.

Step 2:
Move your mile on 7 June, or another date that works for you. Every mile covered and pound raised will help keep children safe.

Your fundraising will go towards our vital work, ensuring we can be there for children when they need us most.
